The Parc du Marquenterre – just an hour from Calais and jewel in the crown of northern France’s birdwatching sites - has created a personalised tour for British birdwatchers, offering close and personal sightings of many of the region's specialities in spring 2017.
The two-day tour, accompanied by a British ornithologist will visit the nesting areas of Spoonbills, Bluethroats, Crested Tits, Black-winged Stilts, Avocets, and Black and Middle Spotted Woodpeckers in the unique Somme Bay area.
Privitised access to the Parc du Marquenterre is also included.
Your tour will be led by Alexander Hiley – Ornithologist, nature photographer and local Somme Bay resident.

Observation sites : Meet at 9am at the Parc du Marquenterre with privitised access for an hour before the park opens to the public, followed by the reedbeds of Noyelles-sur-Mer and the Crécy Forest

Not included : Transport to and during the tours (guests must travel entirely in their own vehicles), Channel crossing, dinner (at your leisure) and snacks, accommodation
