Get on your bike and set out to discover the Thiérache, a surprising region with its green landscape, imposing historical monuments and local products such as the very famous maroilles cheese.

Have you heard of the Axe Vert (Green Route), the former railway line that has been converted into a hiking path? No? Well, we suggest you explore it during a 48 km outing ‘around Guise’ which will allow you to discover the Oise valley, the picturesque villages of Englancourt, Beaurain and Guise, famous for its fortified castle and the Familistère, social palace. Then, you can stay in a charming, category 3, bed & breakfast inn, where your hostess, Mrs. Mérouze, will cook a delicious meal for you. The next day, you’ll continue you journey towards Hirson for a 31 km hike ‘In the land of the 3 rivers’.
