Pierre Leclère has several jobs: he makes champagne, owns and runs a guestroom, farms... and is one of the jolliest hosts you can hope to find! We will welcome you to his home as friends and tell you all about making champagne (the harvest, grape varieties, blends, bottling, vintages and so on). He knows this area like the palm of his hand and will be more than happy to tell you about his favourite addresses and places you will enjoy discovering (Mézy-Moulins church, at sunset, is one example).

Condé en Brie chateau is practically next door, as indeed is Château-Thierry (the town where Jean de La Fontaine was born). If you drive a little further south, Viels-Maisons gardens will provide the perfect backdrop for a stroll hand in hand (and countless gardening tips from Bertrande, the owner). And, if you want to take a treat home to enjoy after your break, try the organic market in Rocourt-Saint-Martin.
