Jean-François and Chloe will welcome you into their home like an old friend. Their character-filled house in the heart of Saint-Germer-de-Fly village is an hour and a half from Paris. Open your window and look out into the garden or onto the imposing Romanesque abbey and breathe in the fresh air. Canvases by the painter fill the residence and divide the body into planets and satellites, making the figure the centre of everything. Enter the artist's personal world.

A few kilometres away you'll find Gerberoy, one of the most beautiful villages in France. The painter, Henri de Sidaner designed a garden here which was an endless source of inspiration to him: hedges of roses, perfectly-kept flowerbeds and small groves linked by steep paths (visit by reservation only 03 4482 3663). While wandering the streets, stop off at the Galerie de René Heveraet who paints the village with love.
